Erickson, Walter "Wally" Reed We are sad to announce the passing of Walter "Wally" Reed Erickson of St. Michael MN. Born in Chicago IL on September 29th 1943. The son of Arthur and Emily (Winowski) Erickson. He died at the age of 80 on March 30th 2024. Wally passed away in Mesa AZ surrounded by his loved ones. He is survived by his children: Beth (Cody) Remarcik, Jim (Emily) Erickson, Bob (Aundra) Erickson, 9 Grandchildren, and 4 Great Grandchildren. Wally was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Sue Erickson. Wally loved spending time with his family at their cabin on Beverly Island in Moose Lake WI, talking about his children and unraveling the most challenging crossword puzzle clues. A service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 to honor Wally's life at Peterson Funeral Chapel in St. Michael, MN at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will take place 1 hour before the service, with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Moose Lake Improvement Association. Peterson Chapel, located at 300 Main St N, St Michael, MN 55376, is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements.
