Diane Marie Vack

Vack, Diane Marie age 67, of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, passed away on December 16, 2023 with her family by her side. Diane was born on September 12, 1956, in Virginia, MN, to Valerie (Andrew) Snyder and Gerald (Karen) Vack. She was a loving mother to her son, Kyle Aho, and cherished daughter-in-law, Elena Aho. Diane adored her 15 month old grandson, Maxwell Aho. She is also survived by her aunt Arlene Dicklich, sister-in-law Jean Vack, special niece Jenessa Diane Vack, nephew/godson Dan Vack, niece/goddaughter Sarah Davidson, and many loving lifetime friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, brother David Vack, aunt Dorothy (Bill) Veranicar, and her uncle Tony (Kathy) Omersa. Diane had a kind, thoughtful, generous, intelligent, and loving personality. She was always fashionable and embraced the color purple. Diane had a passion for dogs, elephants, Christmas, and always found the most thoughtful gifts. In her free time, she enjoyed shopping with her mother and spending time with her special dog companions, Eddie, Kirby, Winston, and Snoozer. Diane had a successful career in reinsurance for 31 years, and retired as an Assistant VP of Client Services from Guy-Carpenter. Diane graduated from Virginia High School, Class of 1974. She furthered her education at Mankato State College, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. A visitation to honor Diane's life will be held on January 13, 2024, at 11 am, followed by a funeral service at 12 pm at Pax Christi Church in Eden Prairie, MN. The burial will be in the spring in Gilbert, MN. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Animal Humane Society in memory of Diane. Diane Marie Vack will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her kind heart, thoughtfulness, and generosity will forever be remembered. May she rest in peace.
