Keenan, Susan Shukay Passed away on April 12, 2023, in St. Paul, MN. She is preceded in death by parents Ray and Albina Shukay, and brother Tom Shukay. She is survived by husband of 59 years David, sister Joan Zabee, and many loving nieces, nephews and in laws. She loved all animals, especially dogs, nature, beautiful sunsets after stormy weather, peaceful protesters, books, travel, family and friends. Material possessions meant nothing to Sue. Most of all, she loved David with all her heart, and David loved her with all his heart. Sue was proud to have grown up in Frogtown and was a proud graduate of Mechanic Arts High School. She was also grateful to have served for 14 years as a sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet and for the life long friendships she made there. Special thanks to nephews Mark and Paul, Paul's daughter Sophie, and to Dave's sisters Alice Ann, Kathleen and Maureen for all their help. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Saint Joan of Arc Church (4537 3rd Ave S., Mpls). A visitation will begin at 10am.
