Sovis, Mary Jean (Raabe) Our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Step Great Grandmother passed away peacefully on 2/23/2023 at the age of 96. Born in Woonsocket SD on Feb. 2, 1927. We loved her beyond words. Preceded in death by parents, siblings, husbands Raymond E. Raabe, Frank M. Sovis, Son James C. Raabe and Step Son Michael Sovis. Survived by Son Kevin M. Raabe, grandson Derek Raabe, Step daughter Terese Sovis, Step granddaughter Gina Sheehan and Step grandchildren Eric (Amy) Sovis, Sean (Jessi) Sovis and Step great grandchildren Alexys, Noah, Samuel, Amaya, Jake and many other relatives and friends. Member of Pax Christi Church of Eden Prairie. Many thanks for the loving care at Friendship Village of Bloomington. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society. Memorial Service will be held at 4:00pm 03/09/2023 in the Chapel at Friendship Village, 8100 Highwood Dr, Bloomington Mn. Private interment at Ft. Snelling.
