Julien, Layla Jones Age 18, of Minnetonka passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022 after a 16-month battle with brain cancer. Layla was a Freshman at the University of St Thomas. Layla was on the Minnetonka High School Dance Teams for 6 years. Served as a Dance Captain her Junior and Senior years. Layla was loved by a community of family and friends. Layla brought light into every room she entered with her smile, sense of humor, kindness, and inclusion of others. Since birth, Layla has been a radiant angel of both physical and inner beauty. Her level of strength and grace were on full display over her last 16 months with us. She will be eternally remembered and missed. Preceded in death by Grandmother, Nancy Malecha. Layla is survived by Mother, Laura Julien; Father, Robbin Julien; and younger Sister, Georgie Julien. A Celebration of her life will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, December 21st at the Wayzata Community Church, 125 Wayzata Blvd. Wayzata, MN 55391.
