Survived by children, Ronald, Roger (Michelle), Maria (Kirk) Houseal and Scott (Dook); 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; partner, Diane Elsberry; siblings, Martin, Herman, Frances Remer and Robert; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by wife, Helen Jean Althoff; siblings, Catherine Mehr, Leonard, Herbert, Henry, Mathias and Paul. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM on Monday (July 25) at St. Richard's Catholic Church, 7540 Penn Ave. in Richfield. Visitation 2-4 PM on Sunday (July 24) at Morris Nilsen Chapel, 6527 Portland Ave. in Richfield and one hour prior to the service at church. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
