Erickson, Judy Joy (Tsatsos) Sunrise: March 2, 1956 Sunset: May 10, 2022 Judy Erickson of Golden Valley/Crystal enjoyed the company of close family and friends on her final day, succumbing to many years of challenges from Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's, and heart disease. She has now begun her new journey, finally reunited with her cherished father George M. Erickson, mother Elaine M. Erickson, her sister-in-law Mary M. Erickson and her niece Kristin Erickson. She was a 1974 graduate of Armstrong High School and went on to become a registered nurse. She worked with patients suffering from mental illness for over 25 years. She was a life member of Golden Valley VFW #7501 Auxiliary, past president of Golden Valley Fire Dept. Auxiliary, past volunteer as a flight nurse with 'Wings of Mercy', and friend to many a tortured soul. Judy was an avid word puzzle solver, MN Wild fan, and enjoyed lavishing others with gifts and treasures. Survived by her loving partner Rob Dowden; son Niko Tsatsos and wife Jess; daughter Dena and husband Phil Dyrud; her much adored grandchildren Nathan, Anna & Tighe Tsatsos; Myah, Mariana & Camden Dyrud; inherited grandchildren Tre, Summer & Elijah, and step great- grandson Myles. Also survived by her brother Ed Erickson and wife Carrie, and sister Sandy Nieman; two nieces; five nephews, and multitudes of aunts, uncles & cousins.
