Among them were the Billy Graham Association, Medtronic, and the obtaining of a real estate license. For many years she welcomed guests as the owner of The Cliff Dweller motel and restaurant in Tofte. She regaled us with exciting stories of motel ownership. She loved to entertain and exceled at hosting events. She was always generous with her time and resources. When she moved back to the Twin Cities, she helped her son run his Property Management business until his death. She then moved to Duluth to be near her daughter, where she spent time tutoring children at a local elementary school. She eventually moved into St Ann's senior residence in Duluth where she enjoyed lively conversation with new friends. She spent many happy hours completing intricate designs in her adult coloring books. She never gave up being a loyal Minnesota Vikings football fan and enjoyed watching the games. She is survived by her sister Dorothy, son-in-law David, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Char passed only four days after her daughter. The family hopes to have a shared Celebration of Life next summer. Remember Char by hugging your family.
