Mosley, Gerald "Jerry" Eugene Age 83, of Wanamingo, formerly of Zumbrota, Mazepa, Lake City, Twin Cities suburbs, and Jackson, died November 12, 2021, at Bay View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Redwing, MN. Jerry was born January 9, 1938, to Richard and Clara (Lev) Mosley. He was the oldest of three children. Jerry worked with his dad on the farm throughout his schooling days. After graduating from Jackson High School, he began an electrician apprenticeship with Joe Veverka's Jackson Electric. As a master electrician, he went on to work with several companies -Medina Electric, Mendota Electric, Orrin Thompson, Langford Electric, Pepin Electric Repair and finally for himself (Mosley Maintenance Mechanic, Residential and Commercial Wiring). Jerry took pride in having been a staff sergeant with his own platoon of 35 during his National Guard training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Jerry enjoyed biking, sailing, skiing and social activities with the ULLR Club and other activity organizations. He did receive ULLR's "1st CALL FOR HELP" award for his behind the scenes support to others, an award he cherished. Jerry shared his dry sense of humor often in conversation. He would give a little side look to see if you really caught what he had said. Survived by his sister, Joanne Clepper (Richard Torrence) of St. Cloud; sister-in-law, Judy Mosley of Elk River; niece, Amy (Marcel) Derosier of Arden Hills; nephew, Steven (Krista) Mosley of Blaine; nephew, Chris (Becky) Mosley of Otsego. He was proceeded in death by his parents; brother, Claude Mosley; nephew, Richard A. Mosley; brother-in-law, Russell Clepper, III. A gathering of family and friends will be held on December 5th from 1-4 pm at the Cremation Society of Minnesota-Edina. The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to their favorite charity in Gerald Mosley's name.
