Chester Martin 'Chet' McGill

McGill, Chester Martin 80, passed away in Arizona, on Feb. 4, 2021. Born to Albert and Jennie (Woollard) McGill and raised in Alden. He joined the Navy in 1960 and completed several tours to Antarctica. He retired from Lewis Truck Lines. He was proud to be a past president of the Eagles Club in New Brighton. Preceded in death by his parents, wife Diane Harrell McGill, sister Joyce McGill, brothers Richard (Deanna) McGill and Garry McGill. Chet is survived by his daughters Jennie (Mike) Steskal, Katie (Mike) Peters, granddaughters AnnMarie, Jacqueline, Holly and Julia, brother Dale (Susan) McGill, sister Karen (Mike) Segar, companion Faith Kozick, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Oak Grove Presbyterian Church in Bloomington with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
