Elasky, Grace M. age 94, of Minneapolis, passed away January 1, 2021. Preceded in death by parents Albert and Ruth (nee Blomberg) Flood, loving husband A. R. (Dick) Elasky, siblings Betty, Earl, Cal, and Myrl, granddaughter Ashley Hope. Grace is survived by daughters Joy (Bruce) Fleming and Jan (Rob) Barrett; grandchildren Christy (Jeff), Mark (Bobbie), Katie and Ellie; four great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. Grace grew up in rural WI and sang in traveling trios. In 1950 she married Dick, a WWII vet from Mpls who became a realtor and restaurateur. Grace and Dick learned to memorize Scripture through the Navigators ministry. Grace held neighborhood Bible studies and, together with sister Myrl, brought Bible Study Fellowship to the Twin Cities in the 1960s. Grace cultivated a rich prayer life and faithfully led and attended church prayer meetings. Grace was known and loved for being a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Bible teacher, prayer warrior and loving friend and neighbor to so many. Funeral service Friday 10:30AM at First Evangelical Free Church of Mpls, 5150 Chicago Avenue S.
