Bourne, Ruth A. (Berg) Sadly, on November 11, we said goodbye to our mom, grandma, aunt, and friend. She passed away peacefully at the age of 90 from complications of dementia and Covid-19. She was born in Cyrus, MN and was a long-time resident of Minneapolis and Plymouth. She worked for Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. in Sauk Centre and Minneapolis where she retired after 25 years. In her retirement, she and her sister Marion worked and camped out at the MN State Fair for many years. They met up daily with family and friends; enjoying all the fair had to offer. Family was everything to her; she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends. Many summers were spent at Rox & Paul's lake home on Diamond Lake in Atwater; she especially enjoyed pontoon rides. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing cards, Bingo, 10,000 dice, and puzzles. She also loved to travel. Her smile, sense of fun and adventure, kindness and spunk will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by son, Larry (Sharon) Bourne; daughters Sherry (Don) Conaway; Deb (Tim) Christopherson; Janelle Clark; Roxanne Bourne; grandchildren, Trevor (Helen) Standiford; Jenny (Jay) Axelberg; Becky Wygonick; Brian (Erin) Bourne; Jen (Gray Powers) Conaway; Jeff (Chloe) Conaway; Scott (Emily) Christopherson; Nicole (Paul) Knutson; Brent (Kendra) Clark; Brandon Clark; many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and sister Evelyn. Preceded in death by her parents, seven siblings, and sons-in-law, Paul and Jim. A Celebration of Life is planned for the summer of 2021. Gearty-Delmore 763-537-4511
