Marrs, Paul M. Passed away on 10/25/2020 after a courageous 7 year battle with multiplemye-loma. Paul was born 12/24/37 to parents Glenn and Lois Marrs in Rudd, IA. Paul graduated from Gates Business College and worked as an Accountant for Rath Packing Co. for 10 years. He had multiple sales jobs throughout his career and was a branch manager of E.O. Temporary Help Services in Minneapolis until he and his wife Mary moved to Seattle and opened Employers Overload of Seattle in 1981. Owned and operated the business for 20 successful years. They enjoyed living in the Pacific NW with a beach home in Newport, OR and their main home in Seattle. Paul loved the fall season. It reminded him of his hunting days with his father but most of all football season. He was both a Viking and Seahawk fan but if given a choice it was the Seattle Seahawks where he and Mary had season tickets for over 20 years. In 2014 they returned to their roots in MN. Paul and Mary enjoyed many years of travel in the US. Paul is preceded in death by parents; and brothers, Keith and David Marrs. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Mary (Chan) Marrs; son, Scott (Amy); daughters, Julie Marz (Scott) and Laurie Schmitt (Scott); grandkids, Emily and Nick Schmitt; brother, Glenn; sister, Marlene Raines; and many nephews and nieces.
