Flaherty, Margaret Mary (Mulligan) Age 89, of Minnetonka, MN passed away on October 11th, 2019. She was born in Chicago, IL, on Sept. 24, 1930 and graduated from the University of Illinois, cum laude in English Literature. She later pursued a degree in Library Science from Ohio Dominican. She spent the majority of her career as an Industrial Librarian for Honeywell. Peg is preceded in death by her parents, Mary (Kelleher) Mulligan & Joseph P. Mulligan, siblings Robert J. Mulligan and John (Jack) R. Mulligan, her husband of 58 years, Donald J. Flaherty and son Brian J. Flaherty (Jenni Duerkop). She is survived by her brothers, Joseph P. Mulligan and Donald J. Mulligan; son David Flaherty (Ellen Weinstein); daughters Kathie Michel (Glen); Eileen Heery (Rick); Savitri Khalsa (EkOngKar); Jeanne Flaherty (Willy Hall); Maureen Flaherty; 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A private family memorial service is planned for a later date. Memorials preferred to the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.
