Mary Ahmann

Ahmann, Mary Age 88 of Eagan, formerly of Bloomington and originally from Detroit Lakes, MN passed away peacefully March 21, 2019. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, John. Mary is survived by children; Wayne (Reen), Dennis (Teresa), Ron, and Mary Jo. Also survived by her brother George (Kay) Thibault, grandchildren Greg (Jalee), Dave (Lindsay), Stacy (Andy) Zachman, Cody (Alissa), Lisa (Tom) Ramlet and 8 great grandchildren. Mary had a full life raising her children, camping with good friends and traveling with John, friends and relatives. Detroit Lakes was always very special to Mary. She had many fond memories of time spent there with her family & extended family. Mary was special to Detroit Lakes as well in 1949 she was crowned Miss Detroit Lakes! Many thanks to the staff at Eagan Pointe Senior Living for their kindness and care. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Alzheimer's Association and St. Bonaventure Catholic Community. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 27th with visitation one hour prior to the service at St. Bonaventure Catholic Community, 901 East 90th Street, Bloomington, MN. Private interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
