Van Keuren, James J. 76 of Maple Grove passed away peacefully on Friday evening, November 16, 2018 surround by his family and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Adele, and brothers, John and Mike. After leaving the Army, Jim worked for the next 45 years at IBM. A celebration of Jim's life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 21 at the Lord of Life Church, 7401 County Road 101, Hamel, MN 55340 with visitation an hour before the service. Those left to honor Jim's memory include his wife of 55 years, Arlowa; sister, Roxanne (Fridley); and brothers, Tom (FL), Don (OR), Tom Constance (Elk River) and Ed Rodewald (Grand Marais); in-laws, Ramona Schuster (MN) and Robert Clough (FL); sons, Jim (Brenda) of Des Moines, IA, Greg (Andrea) of Maple Grove and Eric Van Keuren of Maple Grove; grandchildren, James of El Paso, TX, Emily of Charleston, SC, Joshua and Amanda of Maple Grove and Julia of Des Moines, IA.
