Johnson, Douglas age 82 of Columbia Heights, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away on March 14, 2018. Preceded in death by parents, Herman and Cecil of Duluth; brother, Larry; and grandson, Erik. Survived by wife, Pat of 53 years; son, Craig (Yvette); daughter, Deb (Jeff); grandchildren, Lynsey, Bill, Chad, Bryan and Christine. Doug acheived the rank of Chief Petty Officer in the US Naval Reserve and served for 40 years. Special thanks to Allina Hospice and loving staff at Benedictine- Innsbruck. Memorial service will be at 11 AM, Wednesday, March 21 at First Lutheran Church, 1555 - 40th Ave. NE, Col. Hts. Visitation one hour prior to service. Memorials preferred to First Lutheran Church.
