Theft. A 2006 Pontiac Grand Am was stolen from a driveway at a home on the 11200 block of Baltimore Street NE. The vehicle was left running and was unlocked.

FEB. 4

Theft. A man stole two vacuum cleaners from Mills Fleet Farm, 10250 Lexington Av. NE.

FEB. 5

Property damage. A man reported that someone tried to break into his vehicle by smashing the sunroof on the 10900 block of Club West Parkway NE. The man caught someone on top of his car. The suspect hit him and fled the scene.

Fire. The fire department extinguished a vehicle fire in a field near 10400 block of Flanders Street. NE. The vehicle had been reported stolen in Fridley.

FEB. 6

Burglary. A furnace was stolen from a home that is being remodeled on the 7800 block of Broadway Avenue NE.

FEB. 5

Theft. A purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 10500 block of Crooked Lake Blvd NW.

FEB. 6

Disorderly conduct. A woman called police to report fight the previous night at Rapids Bar and Grill, 133 Coon Rapids Blvd. NW., with an unknown female. She said she received a black eye and was upset that her breast was exposed after one of the bouncers put her in a hold. The police advised her to talk to the bar management.

FEB. 7

Disturbing the peace. Someone sprayed silly string over a mailbox at the end of a driveway at a home on the 11900 block of Grouse Street NW.

FEB. 5

Child neglect. Police received a call about a 6-year-old alone in a car in the parking lot of Baggan's Pub, 3720 East River Road. The police located the father and arrested him.

FEB. 10

Theft. A vehicle was stolen from a parking lot on the 1100 block of 73rd Avenue. NE. The vehicle was unlocked and the keys were in it.

HAM LAKE

FEB. 6

Property damage. Vandals placed a hose near a basement window of a home on the 16900 block of Davenport Street NE. and flooded the home.

FEB. 10

Theft. Tires were stolen off a vehicle on the 13700 block of Aberdeen Street NE. that was parked in a secured fence area.

MOUNDS VIEW

FEB. 3

Disorderly conduct. A tow truck driver was trying to tow a vehicle from the trailer park on the 3000 block of Ardmore Avenue. A man came out and confronted the driver with a shovel and tried to drive the vehicle off the tow truck. The suspect fled.

FEB. 10

Theft. A portable global positioning system was taken from a vehicle on the 2500 block of County Road 10.

Theft. Tennis shoes were stolen from an unlocked garage on the 15000 block of Iguana Street NW.
