Brett Rickaby in "Bereavement" Brett Rickaby is one of us. Born in tiny Shafer, Minn., graduated from Chisago Lakes High School, studied drama at UMD, where he won the theater equivalent of the Heisman Trophy, which meant grad school at NYU. At 46, he's played a heavy, villain or psycho in all kinds of TV shows ("NCIS," "Monk," "24," etc. ) and movies ("The Crazies"). He's now starring in "Bereavement," which received three stars from Star Tribune film critic Colin Covert (read his review).
