Twins playoff schedule: Wild-card games, ticket updates and more

The Twins will host a best-of-three wild-card series at Target Field against the Blue Jays starting Tuesday. Here's the schedule and ticket information.

The American League Central champion Twins will be the No. 3 seed in the American League playoff bracket and will host a best-of-three wild-card series at Target Field next week against the No. 6-seeded Blue Jays.

AL wild card

Game 1: Tuesday

3:38 p.m., ESPN

Game 2: Wednesday

3:38 p.m., ESPN

RHP Sonny Gray (8-8, 2.79) will start for the Twins.

Game 3 (if necessary): Thursday

3:38 p.m., ESPN; time subject to change based on how many other Game 3s there are

Who's pitching for Toronto?

As of Sunday, TBA. but Toronto's rotation is expected to include RHPs Kevin Gausman (12-9, 3.16), former Twins star José Berríos (11-12, 3.65) and Chris Bassitt (16-8, 3.60). LHP Yusei Kikuchi (11-6, 3.76) could be an option as well.

If the Twins win

The winner of this best-of-three wild-card series advances to the best-of-five American League Division Series and will face No. 2-seeded Astros, the defending World Series champion, with Game 1 in Houston.
