A few snow showers and squalls will remain over the Great Lakes today as cold
air continues flowing across the region. An additional 1 to 3 inches will fall
over the typical areas downwind of the lakes.
The heaviest snow will target northwestern New York to the east of Lake Ontario. Up to half a foot of snow will bury parts of this area.
Roads will become snow covered and slippery. Blustery winds will blow the snow, reducing visibility and making travel even more hazardous in these areas.
