Debby Rose, Shoreview: In 1963, when my husband, Kevin, was 12, he used money earned from his paper route to buy these little choirboy figurines as a Christmas gift for his mother. We acquired them after she died. I added the matching little girl when I found her at an antique fair a couple years ago. Together they have a special place on our shelf and in our hearts. They are a sweet reminder of Christmas past and poignant because Kevin has two boys from his first marriage and together we have a girl. [focus121116 (The Minnesota Star Tribune)
