Frankenstein's assistant? You remember Frankenstein. He was the guy that created the so-called monster.

Well, Igor is no monster now, but it could become one in time. The storm will cruise toward the west-northwest across the open Atlantic the next few days and should get to hurricane force over the weekend. Furthermore, there is a realistic chance the Igor will become a major hurricane (Category 3 or stronger) at some point during its life span.

If Igor were to have any impact on the United States, that wouldn't occur before the very end of next week.
