A few links for your afternoon pleasure:

*It's Nick Punto day on the Interwebs. That means the Internet will either bat .220 or .285, but the glove will be solid. Scrappy? Oh this is a very scrappy day on the Internet.

*If you thought Deadspin's gambling columnist was young, he has nothing on this youngster, who is the proprietor of Home Run Hank's Blog. He's a 9, and he's in third grade. A sample of his thoughts:

Cris Carter did not make it into the Hall of Fame. I think that he should be in the Hall of Fame. ... He has 1,101 receptions, 13,899 total yards, and 130 touchdowns. I think the only reason he is not in the Hall of Fame is that the voters don't think he is a good person.

Fair enough, Home Run Hank.

*And finally, the good folks with the Swarm lacrosse team offer a reminder that the squad is back at Xcel Energy Center on Saturday (7:30 vs. Washington) for its first home game since Jan. 22. Want a game preview? Want tickets? Want to get to know the Swarm Performance Team? Want to follow rookie standout Zack Greer on Twitter? Want to get smashed in the face by a lacrosse stick? (Sorry, no link for that one).
