Very warm, humid air has dominated the weather in Florida most of thismonth. More of the same is on the agenda for today and Friday, but change is onthe way for the weekend. Friday, a strong front accompanied by heavythunderstorms will advance across the northern counties of Florida. The frontwill reach the southern part of the state on Saturday.Following the front, a wind out of the north will bring the first genuinecooldown of the autumn season. Through northern Florida, temperatures will beno higher than the 60s this weekend. Central Florida will enjoy 70s while upper70s and lower 80s can be expected in southern counties. In addition to thecooler temperatures, the humidity will be significantly lower statewide.
