The club celebrated its 60th year in 2014. Why has it been around so long? Probably because it is diverse, active — and inclusive. One of its main goals is to teach and encourage people who are new to the outdoors, and it hosts spring and fall "extravaganzas" (group camping) for nonmembers and new Rovers.
