If you are to look at the storm sliding across the Southeast this morning, itdoes not look all that impressive. This storm however, will be part of theextra surge of energy that will make the Northeast storm explode into amonster.Today the storm will move across the south dropping some rain and little snowwhere it will be cold enough. Through the day it will gather more moisture fromthe Gulf and Atlantic before making the turn northeastward overnight. On itsown, this storm would be not too much to worry about.

However, by tomorrow morning the storm will be off the Atlantic coast combiningwith upper-level energy from the Midwest and what is left of the low pressurebringing snow to the Northeast today. These ingredients will work together tocreate what could be one of the strongest Nor'easter of the season.
