Art: 'Toys in the Attic'

Childhood is the theme of this grouping of paintings, prints and custom toys by Amy Jo, DC Ice, DWITT, Punchgut, Adam Turman and other local artists. Considering the artists involved, one can expect a darker take on childhood: haunting memories, disturbing stories, toys, monsters and the like. In a charitable twist, guests are encouraged to bring a new and unused toy to the opening in exchange for a free show poster (while they last). As with any good art opening, there will also be music, provided by DJ Superbeast, and plenty of alcoholic beverages.
