A stalled cold front over eastern New Mexico and western and north-central parts of Texas will trigger severe storms on Tuesday. Plenty of moisture will be available to fuel heavy downpours on top of the threats of damaging winds and hail. Isolated tornadoes may be spawned by the strongest storms.

On Wednesday, the western Plains is expected to have some severe storms. The threats will be similar as the storms on Tuesday.
