France foursome at a glance
Favorite sport: State championships in softball are nice, but only Kai lists it as his favorite sport. Hana prefers soccer; she holds the state tournament record with six assists in a game. Mia and Stevey share a love of floor hockey.
Hunters, too: Hana, Kai, Mia and Stevey are also hunters. Kai and Stevey have shot turkeys. Hana and Mia each shot a bear.
Following their brother: Before Hana, Kai, Mia and Stevey, older brother Noah played adapted sports for Anoka-Hennepin. The older special needs children were involved in other activities. All but one of the 13 total France siblings, ranging in age from the 20s to 40s, live in the Twin Cities.
