8:05 a.m. update: Still tough on the Crosstown, 35W

A crash on southbound 35W at Hennepin Avenue has cleared, but heavy traffic is still in place from Industrial Blvd. to downtown Minneapolis. That also has traffic sluggish on westbound Hwy. 36 from Lexington Pkwy. over to 35W. Plan on 20 minutes from Hwy. 280 to downtown.
