7:25 a.m. update: Inching along on 94 through Maple Grove

The traffic stop on eastbound 94 at County Road 30 is creating a gwaker slowdown that has traffic stacked up all the way to near Hwy. 101. Add a stall to the mix and you have a trip that is taking up to 25 minutes from Rogers to the 494/94 split.

In the southeast metro, look for a traffic jam on westbound 494 over the Wacouta Bridge. There is a crash at 5th Avenue taking out the left lane. Ahead, things slow from Cedar Avenue over to Hwy. 100.

Our other tough spots include:

Northbound 35 from County Road 46 up to Crystal Lake Road in Lakeville and Burnsville: 7 minutes.

Southbound 35E from 694 to 94: 10 minutes

Southbound 35W from 95th Avenue to Hwy. 280: 18 to 22 minutes

Weekend I-35W closure in Minneapolis will be last of the year

Drivers can plan on more weekend closures in the spring as the $239 million I-35W downtown-to-Crosstown project continues until 2021. In a shred of good news, MnDOT will reopen ramp access from northbound I-35W to 5th Avenue on Monday.
