This is the scene on southbound 35E at County Road J. The gridlock kicks in there and remains in place past a left-lane blocking crash at County Road 96.

Closer to downtown St. Paul, traffic loses steam again due to a crash at University Avenue. From County J to downtown St. Paul is now at 22 minutes and travel times are rising.
