At the end of May, poor weather prevented the Space Shuttle Discovery fromlanding at the Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral, Fla. The crew was forcedto spend a couple of extra days in space before touching down underneath brightsunshine in California.Unlike when Discovery was attempting to land, there will not be any showersor thunderstorms surrounding Cape Canaveral when Space Shuttle Endeavour liftsoff on Saturday. The shuttle is scheduled to launch into space at 7:17 a.m.

EDT. Winds will be light with patchy clouds filtering overhead.

Seven astronauts will accompany Endeavour to the International SpaceStation. The shuttle will deliver a key piece of the Japanese laboratorycomplex. Endeavour is expected to return to Earth on June 29th.
