Lara Croft gets a makeover

"Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition" ($60 for PS4 and Xbox One) brings 2013's excellent "Tomb Raider" reboot to the next-gen systems with all of the post-release downloadable content from the previous version. There are a few Xbox One- and PlayStation 4-specific added features such as voice commands and touch-pad controls. For example, you can say "stealth" to switch to a silent weapon or use the PS4's touch pad to light a torch. It's all clever but inessential. The original version was gorgeous, but this is one of the best-looking console games ever. While Lara's running movements feel jumpy, this game has the best control in the history of the series. If you've already played "Tomb Raider," it's not worth $60. If you haven't, this is the best game available for PS4 or Xbox One. Rated Mature
