April 3, 2009 at 7:30PM

I don't think I have ever seen a March or April when high winds didn't blowsomewhere in the United States. Like I said, this is a very stormy period, andwith the storms go strong winds. The current weather map shows a big storm swirling from upstate New Yorkinto Ontario. The strong circulation of the storm will produce high winds fromMichigan to the mid-Atlantic states Friday night. The high winds will persistfrom Pennsylvania eastward Saturday.

During the period, wind speeds will average 20 to 35 miles per hour, withsome gusts over 50 miles per hour.
