Preview: The Wild had a franchise-record six goals in the third period of Sunday's 6-2 win over Dallas; it was also the most goals in a period this season in the NHL. A league-best 11-1-1 since the All-Star break and NHL-best 13-2-2 since Devan Dubnyk's Jan. 15 debut, the Wild can move into seventh in the West with a victory and a Winnipeg regulation loss to Dallas. The Wild is 20-2-1 against the Oilers at home since Jan. 16, 2007, and has won twice in Edmonton this season.
Players to watch: Dubnyk is expected to make his 18th consecutive start. The former Oilers player is 5-0 with a 0.79 goals-against average and .970 save percentage against his former team this season. Wild LW Zach Parise ranks 10th in the NHL with 25 goals. C Mikko Koivu has 12 points in the past 10 games. Jonas Brodin is tied for eighth among NHL defensemen with a plus-17. Oilers RW Jordan Eberle has 17 points in 20 games vs. the Wild.
Numbers: Dubnyk has allowed 27 goals in 17 starts (1.58 per game) … Parise is one of three players in Wild history to have two 25-goal seasons (Marian Gaborik, five; Brian Rolston, three) … The Wild has outscored opponents 22-6 in the 17 first periods since Dubnyk's arrival.
Injuries: Wild D Jared Spurgeon (head), LW Jason Zucker (collarbone), LW Ryan Carter (upper body), LW Matt Cooke (sports hernia) and D Keith Ballard (concussion) are out. Oilers C Taylor Hall (leg), G Viktor Fasth (knee), D Nikita Nikitin (shoulder), C Anton Lander (shoulder) and RW Tyler Pitlick (spleen) are out. D Jeff Petry (ribs) is questionable.
