History: This will be the Wild's first outdoor game and the Blackhawks' fourth. The Gophers were host of the Hockey City Classic in 2014 at TCF.
Expected crowd: The Gophers drew 45,022 last year, and the Wild would hope to fill TFC to its capacity (52,5252).
A step toward? The Wild wants the NHL's marquee outdoor game, the Winter Classic, which is played on New Year's Day.
