Right guard Anthony Herrera returned to practice Wednesday and said he expects to play Sunday after missing two games because of a concussion.

Herrera said he started to feel normal again earlier this week. "I really feel clear," he said. "Everything feels really clear so back to my old self." Herrera said he and the team wanted to take things slowly to make sure he didn't return too soon and cause further damage. There's obviously a lot of attention on the concussion issue inside the NFL these days, and Herrera said he's received a lot of support within the organization. "What really helped was the players in the locker room, coaches and the training staff," he said. "Everybody was consistent [in saying] 'Hey, this is more than just football. This is about your future, this is about your life. The team understands and we'll be OK without you for a couple weeks. Just get healthy and get back.'" Asked if he needed to hear that, Herrera said: "Yes. It's about my boys in here. We've got a family and everybody counts on each other. And if there's a chink in the armor, everybody feels it. We all count on each other around here and we're dedicated to each other so I needed to hear that." Radovich returns When offensive tackle Drew Radovich was released from the practice squad in September, he admits he didn't think he would return to the Vikings. "No, I didn't," he said. "That's how I thought the NFL worked. You get a shot with a team and then ..." But Radovich was back with the team Wednesday after being re-signed to the practice squad. Radovich said he spent five weeks on the San Francisco 49ers practice squad, was out of football for a month and then signed with the Indianapolis Colts last week before being released again. "I was originally going for a workout (with the Colts) and then they signed me and I was there for three days," he said. "On Friday they said, 'Sorry we had to make a roster move.' That's the way it rolls. …It's been tough because you have to just get back up on the saddle and keep going and keep your dream alive and keep your goals in perspective." Radovich, an undrafted rookie in 2008, spent the season on the Vikings injured reserve because of a shoulder injury. There was some thought that he might win a job on the 53-man roster in training camp, but he was signed to the practice squad at the end of camp.
