Hi Vikings Fans!!

I know it's been too long since I've last updated you. As many of you know, you can check out all the MVC's activities on our website at Vikings.com in between our posts on this blog!

Anyway, I'd thought I'd tell you what I learned from watching the Vikings defeat the Lions last Sunday:

  • United States Armed Forces: I am continually amazed at discipline and sacrifices that the men and women of the United States Armed Forces. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of the respect for their sacrifice that was on display at Mall of America Field on Sunday. Thank you to all of the fans who made Sunday such an amazing experience; and a deep thank you to all those who have put their country first for the betterment of all of us here at home.
  • On a much lighter note, I would like to admit that at the beginning of the season, I expected our defense to win games for us. It's is now extremely evident that the Vikings offense (ranked 3rd in the league in total touchdowns) will continue lead us to victory!
  • I think our defense could be much more opportunistic- we are currently ranked last in defensive touchdowns.

Now for the predictions for our game against the Seattle Seahawks:

  • Everyone talks about how pass-happy the Philadelphia Eagles are, but Seattle is ranked 1st in the league for total passing plays. I hope we will see a few interceptions this week...
  • Adrian Peterson will have another big week- the Seahawks rushing defense struggled against Beanie Wells and Tim Hightower last week.

Check out vikings.com and foxsports.com for more information on the upcoming game! I get a lot of my vikings and nfl news from those sites!

Hope to see you at Mall of America Field!!

-Pamela
