Things "looking good" for Cutler to face Vikings

Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, who missed Monday night's game against San Francisco because of a concussion, has been cleared to practice. Cutler is likely to play against the Vikings on Sunday, although Bears coach Lovie Smith didn't quite go that far in a conference call with Minnesota media today.

Smith said "if we practiced today, he would be on a limited basis. Things are looking good, but we just don't know."

The Bears lost to the 49ers with Jason Campbell at quarterback. Said Smith: "Jay is one of the best quarterbacks playing. We are a different football team with him. Our record has been pretty good when he's started and finished the football game."
