With the second week of organized team activities starting back up Tuesday, the Vikings have announced the signing of Corey Gatewood, an undrafted rookie cornerback out of Stanford. Gatewood will move into the roster spot recently vacated when Asher Allen informed the Vikings of his surprise decision to retire.
Gatewood played in 13 games for Stanford last season but was far from a headliner. He contributed on special teams, had one catch as a receiver and made nine tackles with one interception on defense.
