The Vikings just started their Friday practice and Brett Favre is taking part again.
Favre did not make any throws in Wednesday's practice because of tendinitis in his right elbow. He was limited in Thursday's practice and was doing some light throwing during individual drills on Friday.
The full injury report with player designations for Sunday's game against Dallas will be released later Friday.
Center John Sullivan also is practicing for the second consecutive day after returning from a calf injury. Sullivan also has been limited and Jon Cooper will start in his place if he can't play Sunday.
The only player not on the field Friday is rookie guard Chris DeGeare, who is sidelined because of an ankle injury.
Wide receiver Sidney Rice caught some passes on the sideline during individual drills. It's the first time media has seen Rice at practice this season. He was on crutches until earlier this week after having hip surgery so he usually was inside the trainer's room getting treatment during practice.
