MANKATO -- If Greg Lewis runs into a Vikings fans, odds are good he will be asked about that catch.

You know, the one he made with 2 seconds left in Week 3 last year against San Francisco to lift the Vikings. The one that came on Brett Favre's desperation pass to Lewis, who was going full speed in the back of the end zone and extended himelf at the final moment to bring the ball into his body.

The one that gets replayed again and again as one of the higlights of 2009 and recently won an ESPY award for the Best Play. The veteran wide receiver caught only seven other passes last season, so he could try to live on the glory of that moment. But he doesn't.

"If I'm watching TV and it's on the highlights then, yeah, I'm going to stop and watch it," he said. "But I don't go look for it or try and do anything of that nature. It was a great catch, it was a great moment for the team and for myself but it's over with now. That's like me going back and looking at the touchdown I had in the Super Bowl [with Philadelphia]. We still lost. It does nothing for me right now, so I'm looking forward to moving forward and trying to do things this year."

That doesn't mean Lewis isn't stopped by Vikings fans to relive the moment.

"I get a lot of reaction out here with the fans. 'Sign my ESPY' or this or that or 'I was at the game, it was the best play I ever saw,'" Lewis said. "It makes me feel good to know that you did something to help or make somebody feel good. But that's my job. I'm supposed to go out there and catch passes. I try to downplay it as much as possible. I'm proud of it but it's not the end of the world for me."
