The Lions have a 10-0 lead over the Vikings at halftime on Sunday at TCF Bank Stadium. Rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has thrown two interceptions in the first half.

The Good: The Vikings front four has made life tough on Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford. While they've mixed in some blitzes throughout the half, the defensive line has done a really good job of pressuring Stafford on pass situations. He's only been sacked once, and it was on linebacker Jasper Brinkley's first career sack in the second quarter, but the Lions have gone 0 for 7 on third downs because of the pressure. We've seen a lot of stunts involving defensive tackle Tom Johnson with either defensive ends Everson Griffen or Brian Robison.

The Bad: Bridgewater has looked like, well, a rookie. The Vikings opening drive was their best drive, and it ended in a terrible interception. Bridgewater tried to force the ball to wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson, though he was triple covered, and Lions safety Glover Quin read it the entire way. It appeared wide receiver Greg Jennings was open on the play.

The Vikings tried to put points on the board right before the half but Bridgewater's pass was deflected off running back Matt Asiata's hands and intercepted by linebacker Tahir Whitehead. The Vikings recorded just 78 yards of total offense. Bridgewater is 7 of 13 for 54 yards and two interceptions. He also hasn't had good protection. The Lions have recorded four sacks.

The Ugly: The Lions hoped to have cured their kicking woes by signing Matt Prater this week, but the Vikings were fortunate it continued in the first half. Prater missed a 50-yarder wide left on the open end of the stadium to start the second quarter. The Lions cut Alex Henery after missing three field goals in the 17-14 loss to the Bills last week.

Prater sunk a 52-yarder with seven seconds left in the first half.
