CC wins in shootout

• COLORADO COLLEGE 3, ST. CLOUD STATE 2 (SO): Jonny Brodzinski and Niklas Nevalainen gave the No. 2 Huskies (8-1-2, 3-1-1 NCHC) 1-0 and 2-1 leads, but the Tigers (1-7-2, 1-4-2) rallied Friday night. Scott Wamsganz’s goal for CC at 11:18 of the third tied the score and he scored the only shootout goal.

• BOSTON UNIVERSITY 3, NORTH DAKOTA 1: Power-play goals by Danny O’Regan and Kevin Duane carried the host Terriers (6-6) to an upset of No. 15 UND (4-6-1).

• MICHIGAN 6, NIAGARA 0: Alex Guptill and Andrew Copp each scored two goals for the No. 5 Wolverines (8-2-1).

• WESTERN MICHIGAN 2, MICHIGAN STATE 0: Lukas Hafner made 22 saves for the Broncos (4-5-2) to beat the Spartans (3-6).

• BOWLING GREEN 4, MSU MANKATO 3 (OT): Mark Cooper’s third goal of the game — with 32 seconds left in overtime — gave the Falcons (6-4-3, 4-2-1) the home victory.

• LAKE SUPERIOR STATE 3, BEMIDJI STATE 2: The No. 16 Lakers (7-3-1, 3-2 WCHA) scored two power-play goals 57 apart to beat the host Beavers (4-7-2, 4-4-1).
