Morning. Hopefully you saw today's Josh Harding/Darcy Kuemper/Ilya Bryzgalov story here and the Q and A with coach Mike Yeo here. It'll be interesting to see if GM Chuck Fletcher ultimately ends up suspending Harding for his off-ice injury that came following an off-ice altercation with a teammate. Harding is to earn $2.1 million this season. He is expected to miss at a minimum two to three months. It's a costly injury to the Wild, not just competitively, but financially because now the Wild may have to go out and pay Bryzgalov -- an unexpected expenditure. The Wild has plenty of salary-cap space, but in real dollars going out, the Wild's payroll is near the top of the league at around $70 million and all teams have internal budgets. So nobody's happy with this injury and my gut says Fletcher is wrestling with how to handle Harding's status. I believe Fletcher is scheduled to meet with Harding today. The Wild added 22 players to its main training-camp roster from the Traverse City prospect tournament plus Bryzgalov's tryout. Invited to camp were forwards Brady Brassart, Raphael Bussieres, Reid Duke, Tyler Graovac, Kurtis Gabriel, Ryan Graham, Pavel Jenys, Chase Lang, Zack Mitchell and Ryan Walters; defensemen Matt Dumba, Tanner Faith, Christian Folin, Guillaume Gelinas, Alex Gudbranson, Dylan Labbe, Gustav Olofsson and Hunter Warner and goalies Alexandre Belanger, Johan Gustafsson and Brandon Whitney. The Wild released forwards Olivier Archambault, Jessey Astles, Reid Gardiner and Andrew Ryan from their amateur tryouts. The training-camp roster now stands at 57, including some invitees who earned their way to main camp but are also needed so Yeo has enough players to fill three groups the first three days of camp. In order to get players more reps in practices, Yeo added an extra group, saying there's a big difference when you have, say, 17 skaters in a practice as opposed to more than 20. It'll allow more reps, which causes better conditioning, too. There will be more skating in practices as opposed to afterward. Players report for camp today for fitness testing and physicals. They will be on the ice for the first time Friday. And a reminder, Saturday's practices are open to the public from 8:30 a.m.-1. The scrimmage starts at 9:25. Single-game tickets go on sale at Xcel Energy Center's box office at 10 a.m. 2014-15 MINNESOTA WILD TRAINING CAMP ROSTER
