Well, you heard something during this morning's ESPN broadcast of USA's 89-79 World Championship quarterfinal vicotry over Russia that you don't hear every day...

AND KEVIN LOVE SKIES FOR A REBOUND!

Yep, those words came out of play-by-play guy Mark Kestecher's mouth during Love's three-minute appearance today in Istanbul for a USA team that pulled away in the second half.

Sure looks like Team USA will play in the semifinals Lithuania, a team that's surprisingly is clobbering Argentina in the third quarter.

Love had a rebound and a foul in those precious three minutes on an evening in Turkey when Coach K stayed small with a lineup that relied upon Kevin Durant (33 points), Derrick Rose, Chauncey Billups and Lamar Odom.

Barring a miracle, the Americans will play Lithuania Saturday in one semifinal, Serbia will meet host Turkey in the other.

Serbia advanced Wednesday by sending defending world champs Spain and Ricky Rubio home with a 92-89 decision during which Rubio continued to show no ability -- or interest -- to score and was muscled by bigger, older players.

He had three points, three assists, two steals, three turnovers and four fouls and made one of four shots in 26 minutes while Wolves second-round pick Nemanja Bjelica finally stepped forth after a quiet tournament with a 14-point game on 5-for-5 shooting before he fouled out in a mere 14 minutes.

Rubio averaged 4.9 points, 5.7 assists and 3.3 rebounds and shot 27.5 percent (11 for 40) in seven World Championship games.

After watching Durant and Russell Westbrook today...well, one thought for Western Conference teams for the next decade, Timberwolves especially included:

Good luck!
