Former Twins manager Tom Kelly is back home and is resting after suffering a minor stroke Friday.

Twins General Manager Terry Ryan described the stroke as "very minor." He spoke to Kelly on Monday and was told he felt better after a couple days of tests at a local hospital.

Kelly, 64, was supposed to broadcast the Twins' home finale on Wednesday against Arizona, but didn't feel well and had to back out. He was replaced by Tim Laudner.

Ryan stressed that Kelly told him to "tell everyone that I am fine."
