Q: Please tell me if and when they are going to conclude "Secrets & Lies" from last year. I saw a commercial where there is going to be a new season. Did I miss the end of last year's?

A: I don't know if you missed the end, so I'll recap. The series, which completed its first season in May 2015, had two endings: the televised one and an extra scene posted on ABC.com.

On TV, Ben (Ryan Phillippe) falsely confessed to murder to protect the real killer, his daughter Abby. His wife, Christy, and Abby went on the run, while daughter Natalie refused to leave. Detective Andres Cornell (Juliette Lewis), not believing Ben, vowed to bring Abby to justice.

In the ABC.com extra, taking place 14 months later, Cornell persuaded Natalie her to testify against Abby and help clear Ben. Cornell then found Christy and Abby.

The second season, with Cornell investigating a different case, begins Sept. 25.

Behind the scenes at Fox News

Q: Can you shed any more light on the status of Andrea Tantaros and Ed Henry of Fox News?

A: This will take awhile.

Fox News said in May that Henry had "personal issues and he's taking some time off to work things out." People.com reported that a Las Vegas hostess claimed an affair with Henry, who is married. He is expected back on the air at some point.

The story around Tantaros is more complicated. In April, the network said that "issues have arisen regarding Andrea's contract, and Fox News Channel has determined it best that she take some time off." The network was reportedly displeased with Tantaros' book, "Tied Up in Knots: How Getting What We Wanted Made Women Miserable." She remains under contract.

Tantaros has said that Roger Ailes, then top man at Fox News, sexually harassed her, adding her name to the list of women who have said the same. According to NYmag.com, Tantaros said she complained to Fox executives about Ailes and was taken off the air in retaliation. But what Tantaros said to whom is disputed. Buzzfeed, for example, said Tantaros accused "four Fox News male personalities — two on-air contributors, a correspondent, and a host — of inappropriate behavior," but not Ailes. The saga goes on.

'Black Gold' tarnished

Q: What happened to one of my favorite shows, "Black Gold?" It was the story of men learning how life works, drinking beer and chasing girls.

A: The last episode of the reality show aired on truTV in February 2013. It appeared to be successful at the time, having been on for five seasons. But in April of that year, star Brandon Watson was arrested for what Texas' Midland Reporter-Telegram called "allegedly being involved in multiple hit-and-run collisions while driving intoxicated." And the show never came back.
